Personal Care

Hands-on assistance with daily activities — bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility — delivered in your home by trained, compassionate aides.

What Personal Care Includes

Personal care aides assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) — the fundamental tasks needed to live safely and comfortably at home. All aides are NC-certified, background-checked, and matched to your schedule and needs.

CHCA provides two Medicaid-funded personal care programs:

  • IHCA — In-Home Care for Adults (age 21+)
  • IHCC — In-Home Care for Children (under age 21)

Both programs are billed directly to NC Medicaid — no out-of-pocket cost for eligible clients.
